1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Use govern access to Cheap Video API, its website, model catalog, APIs, documentation, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where you live. You must provide accurate account information, safeguard credentials and API tokens, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for users of applications you connect to the Services.
3. Access to the Services and APIs
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services and documentation for lawful personal or business purposes. You may integrate our approved APIs into your applications. You may not bypass limits, expose private credentials, interfere with the Services, misrepresent generated content, or resell access except under a separate written agreement.
4. Inputs, outputs, and AI limitations
You may submit prompts, images, video, audio, text, and other materials (“Inputs”) and receive generated or processed materials (“Outputs”). You retain rights you hold in Inputs. You grant us a limited license to host, transmit, reproduce, and process Inputs only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Services. You are responsible for having all rights and permissions required for Inputs and your use of Outputs. AI Outputs may be inaccurate, unexpected, similar to another user’s output, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Review Outputs before relying on or publishing them.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Services to violate law or third-party rights; create or distribute unlawful, abusive, exploitative, deceptive, or malicious material; impersonate others without authorization; process biometric or personal data without a lawful basis; infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; develop malware; evade safeguards; overload or probe systems; scrape the Services at scale; or help another person do any of these things. We may investigate, block content, limit requests, or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the Services.
6. Third-party models and services
The Services may route requests to third-party model, infrastructure, identity, storage, analytics, and payment providers. Their technology may have separate technical limits or usage rules. Google authentication is subject to Google’s applicable terms and privacy practices. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their independent acts or availability.
7. Pricing and payment
Pricing is based on actual token usage and the rate applicable to the selected model. Payments are currently marked “Payment Coming Soon.” Before billing becomes active, we will publish applicable rates, payment methods, usage records, taxes, refund rules, and any credit terms. Once payment launches, you are responsible for authorized charges and applicable taxes associated with your account.
8. Intellectual property
The Services, site design, software, documentation, trademarks, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Except for the limited access right in these Terms, no rights are granted to our technology or branding. Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used without restriction or compensation, but we are not required to use it.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay amounts due after payment launches, or materially interfere with the Services. Where practical, we will provide notice. Provisions that by nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limitations, and payment obligations—will survive.
10. Service changes and availability
Models, endpoints, limits, pricing, and features may change or be discontinued. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for appropriate retries, backups, moderation, human review, and business-continuity measures in applications that depend on the Services.
11. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND RELIABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUTPUTS ARE UNIQUE, LAWFUL FOR EVERY USE, OR FREE OF THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so they may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify us and our affiliates, personnel, and providers against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your Inputs, applications, End Users, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.
14. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the “Last updated” date. Material changes may receive additional notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, or transfer of the Services.
15. Contact
Questions, complaints, or legal notices about these Terms may be sent to contact@cheapvideoapi.com. Do not include passwords, payment credentials, or other sensitive secrets in email.
